CD Ministry
The CD Ministry actually began long ago as the “Tape Ministry”, in which recordings of the Sunday worship services were made on cassette tapes.
When we still used the cassette tape technology, recordings of the women’s Sunday School classes were made as well. Copies of these cassette tapes were distributed primarily to the sick and homebound members of our congregation.
Eventually, after we switched to CDs, they were also delivered weekly to a local assisted-living facility, and to a nursing and rehab facility.
Presently, the worship guides for our services are now distributed along with CD recordings of our services.
The goal for this ministry was, and still is, to provide to those unable to attend worship, a way to be involved and connected with the church family. While the CD Ministry primarily produces and provides CDs of our Sunday services, we now also make CD recordings of weddings, funeral services, and other special services such as concerts, to give to those who request them.
This includes the organ and piano concerts offered each year, as well as seasonal cantatas performed by our sanctuary choir. And now, through this website, you can access recordings of all of our services and other special events…or better yet, we invite you to come and worship with us in person if you are able! You will be warmly welcomed.
