How We Do Worship
Worship at PBBC
Our services are traditional in style, although we do have special music that is more contemporary.
We follow the liturgical year, celebrating the various seasons on the calendar from Advent to Christ the King Sunday, the last Sunday of the liturgical year.
Seasons
On Palm Sunday, we remember Christ’s passion with readings from one of the three synoptic gospels (Matthew, Mark or Luke). The colors of the paraments, and the use of the Chrismon tree, the Easter cross and the reds and oranges of Pentecost are some of the ways worship is visually enhanced during those seasons.
Children
For our children, a childrens’ message is almost always included in our services.
